This is everything we are looking for in terms of quality, comfortability, and durability. My infant napped 3 times on a long road trip the first day sitting and resting in it. That is just amazing! It was okay
The rotating car seat is a somewhat newer feature but I had high hopes because of the brand attached to it.
The installation was not super hard but not as easy as Nuna.
The seat itself is soft and cushioned.
My baby is still rear facing and the seat does not have any recline options so my baby was super reclined. Like 25 degrees. And she is short but it also didn’t look comfortable for her hips. She seemed to be in a more crunched position instead of seated.
The straps are hard to tighten and I never felt like it was tight enough. The shoulder straps also had some material on the back side so it wouldn’t slip and I can only compare it to a strapless bra. So in the summer I couldn’t imagine that being comfortable.
I have contacted Maxi Cody and I have looked at the seat many time to make sure it was installed correctly and I had her in it correctly. This just didn’t work for us.

Do not buy this car seat
We had issues with this car seat from day 1. The first seat wouldn't turn, I complained and it is a known problem with these seats, Maxi-Cosi sent a replacement. The second major problem with these seats are all the secondary body pillows that are not attached but are required in rear-facing mode. These are afterthoughts and are just annoying. Third, the crotch buckle is way to short on these seats. It is a common complaint online (I wish I had read more reviews). When baby is small it's fine, but as they grow the buckle pinches their legs. The combination of a short crotch buckle and extra required pillows makes an uncomfortable seat. My child now refuses to sit in it and I can't blame her. Take my advice and go with a different turning seat.

Don’t waste your time or money
Installation was terrible, on top of that it does not lock so just my five-year-old was able to turn it around with ease while locked. I can’t imagine getting into an accident and having this car seat. This is a safety hazard stay away from his car seat because all you’re gonna do is waste your time trying to install it and then having to return it because it does not lock properly.
