Nuna Car Seats

Nuna car seats bring together rotating infant seats, all-in-one convertibles, and high-back boosters built for parents who care about both safety scores and how a seat actually looks in the back of the car. The lineup uses True Lock base installation, steel-reinforced frames, and side-impact pods that meet or exceed federal standards, with GREENGUARD Gold certification on the fabrics so off-gassing isn't a concern in a closed vehicle. Most models grow with your child from 4 lbs at the infant stage through booster mode around 120 lbs, which makes the per-year cost easier to justify than swapping seats every two years. Bambi Baby stocks the full Nuna car seat range alongside complementary picks from CYBEX, Maxi-Cosi, and UPPAbaby, and pairs every car seat purchase with fit guidance from staff who install seats daily at our showrooms. If you're shopping the broader category, our top selling car seats and booster car seats collections are good next stops, and car seat travel bags make airport gate-checking far less stressful.

How long can I use the Nuna RAVA?

The Nuna RAVA is a long lasting convertible car seat! It first rear-faces and then flips around and can be installed forward-facing. The RAVA fits children from 5 pounds to 65 pounds or up to 49 inches tall. Car seats are outgrown as soon as one of the limits is met. The RAVA can also be outgrown by torso height - once the harness straps cannot come from even or above your child’s shoulders when forward-facing, the seat is outgrown regardless of the other limits.

Typically a child can fit in the Nuna RAVA until 5-7 years old! Most will outgrow the seat in torso height or overall height. On average a child reaches 49” around 6-8 years old, whereas they won’t reach 65 pounds until 7-10 years old.

The Nuna RAVA expires 10 years after the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is printed on the underside of your car seat.

Why Are Nuna Car Seats So Expensive?

Nuna is so expensive because of the features, design, and materials used. Nuna is a luxury brand known for its commitment to safety, often surpassing industry standards. Nuna car seats offer premium safety features such as an all steel frame, side impact protection system, anti-rebound panel, rigid latch, and steel stability/load leg.

Nuna car seats are also fashioned solely from materials that are free of fire retardant additives as well as other chemicals like PFAS. They are crafted with an emphasis on quality, comfort, and safety. Nuna seats are also some of the easiest to use and install. A correctly installed seat is one of the most important factors in keeping your child safe in their seat. Nuna car seats offer durable construction and features that make your child’s ride more comfortable too such as adjustable recline positions, plush fabrics, and soft inserts.

Ultimately, whether Nuna car seats are worth it for you depends on your priorities, preferences, and budget considerations. If safety, premium features, and a stylish design are significant to you and fit within your budget, a Nuna car seat may be a worthwhile investment!
