UPPAbaby Vista V2 vs Nuna DEMI Grow Comparison

UPPAbaby Vista V2 vs Nuna DEMI Grow

Two of the most popular single-to-double strollers for city living are compared directly from an unsponsored, unbiased point of view to help you decide based on your lifestyle rather than popularity or brand.

Elevator buildings, long walks on unpredictable terrain, and anything city life can throw at you are no match for these strollers. But which best suits you? By comparing their most iconic features directly, we hope to help you figure that out.

Both strollers are equipped with reversible seats, meaning you can face your child towards you or away with a simple flip and click. Theyā€™re also both car seat compatible and single-to-double, meaning they can be for one baby or toddler, two babies, two toddlers, or one baby and one toddler with just a few minor adjustments.

Essentially, the major functions are the same ā€“ So what sets them apart are the small details most forget to analyze prior to purchasing. Those details are far more important than youā€™d think when picking a stroller that best suits your environment and day-to-day life.

Canopies

While the UPPAbaby Vista V2 has only the standard canopy, the Nuna DEMI Grow comes equipped with two ā€“ One solid winter canopy and a fully ventilated summer canopy. That summer canopy is crucial for the hotter seasons of the year for multiple reasons. As weā€™ve discussed before, putting a blanket over your seat to shield your child from the sun raises the temperature to an uncomfortable and unsuitable environment for your baby within seconds. A breezy canopy like the one on the DEMI Grow prevents the temperature from rising by allowing airflow, while still maintaining coverage and protection from the sun.

Pushbars

Both of these strollers have extendable pushbars, but the Nuna DEMI Growā€™s extends to about an inch and a half higher than the UPPAbaby Vista V2. So, taller parents may find a much more comfortable push using this stroller, couples with a significant height difference will likely find the extended adjustability convenient when itā€™s their turn to push, and shorter parents may never utilize the feature at all.

Basket vs Bar

Beneath each stroller lies a feature that's importance relies on your priorities. The UPPAbaby Vista V2 has an extra large storage basket, while the Nuna DEMI Grow sacrifices a bit of storage space to sport a sturdy bar. The reason for this bar is to step on it for leverage to easily lift the front half of your stroller when going over a curb or any uneven terrain. This feature is extremely beneficial for walks in any unpredictable environment. However, the extra large basket provided by the DEMI Grow is wonderful for walkable lifestyles in the city. If youā€™re someone who walks to and from the shops, it gives you plenty of room for all of your goods right beneath the stroller to push them and baby home with ease.

Final Comparisons

Last but not least, in addition to the leverage bar, the DEMI Grow has adjustable suspension. By simply flipping the switch in the undercarriage, you can stiffen or soften the suspension to handle literally any terrain. Ideally, smooth surface strolls will be stiff and rough terrain soft to absorb any shock and keep your bundle of joy from feeling the bumps. It also comes equipped with a removable, washable insert that allows for airflow and easy cleaning.

To summarize, the UPPAbaby Vista V2 is likely ideal for a walkable city living lifestyle. The Nuna DEMI Grow is suited for basically any environment thanks to its many adjustable factors. Both strollers are safety tested, made with the best materials available, and the definition of luxury ā€“ But the final choice rests with where you plan to live, walk, and utilize your stroller. Hey guys, Enelio here from Bambi Baby, and today we're doing a side-by-side comparison of the UPPAbaby Vista V2 against the Nuna DEMI Grow. Why I chose these two strollers to compete is yes, they are single to double, but I am a fan of finding the perfect one for you as a city walking person. So elevator buildings are ideal for these strollers. A lot of walking is ideal for these strollers. They both have reversible seats so you can remove them and turn them around facing forward, world facing, or facing you. The DEMI Grow gives you two canopies; a solid winter canopy and a breezy canopy with full ventilation. The height of the DEMI Grow push bar is a little taller at full extension than the UPPAbaby Vista by about an inch and a half to two inches for taller parents. One thing I do like on the DEMI Grow over the Vista is that I have a bar that I can use as leverage to go up and down curbs, whereas the UPPAbaby basket is flexible and will not give me stability. The DEMI Grow gives you adjustable suspension, so for smooth surfaces make it nice and stiff, for rougher terrain, you can soften it up. The UPPAbaby Vista has a huge basket down below for carrying capacity and an adjustable footrest in multiple positions, whereas the DEMI Grow only gives you one. One last feature which is ideal on the DEMI Grow: It has a removable and washable insert to allow airflow, and allow you to keep the stroller clean. If you have any questions about the DEMI Grow versus the Vista V2, please leave them below.
