Silver Cross introduces the Dune stroller, new for Spring 2022. This stroller is perfect for city strolling and is a sleek and stunning addition to any modern family.

The 5-in-1 travel system of the Dune ensures the stroller is suitable from birth up and boasts multiple modes of transportation. The “first bed” folding bassinet carrycot allows parents to stroll with their baby as soon as possible. Babies can rest comfortably in the fully ventilated carrycot that can double as their first bed. The carrycot can be removed from the stroller chassis with one hand simply, and folds easily when no longer in use. The hard shell base provides security, while the soft, cushioned mattress allows premium comfort. With the bassinet carrycot, the Dune also introduces the newborn pod. The Newborn Pod offers incredible support for newborn babies. Simply click off the head support and click in the pod for a safe and secure newborn solution. Created with supportive and comfortable bamboo lining, babies will always stroll safely. The newborn pod also folds without the need for extra removal or storage. With Dune’s pushchair, simply release the side button, and easily transition your baby from parent dancing to world facing, or vice versa with one hand. The adjustable calf support and multi-recline seat positions offer the perfect place to relax for little cruisers, and an extendable UPF50+ hood with air vent and sun visor will protect them from all the heat and keep them cool. Complete the travel system with the ability to move from car seat to chassis easily. The Dune’s fabrics are also made with 100% recyclable material. 35 recycled bottles make up the seat unit and 12 make up the first bed.

Dune introduces the new Silver Cross Genius Harness System™. This harness system, designed to save parents a ton of time, locks in tightly ensuring the baby is secure as they stroll. The patented magnetic buckles ensure that parents are no longer struggling with buckles as baby wiggles. The magnetic buckles find each other and lock in with a simple snap. The Dune also introduces the new and improved headrest and harness adjustment system. This is the first of its kind, as it lets parents switch between harness and headrest heights one-handed. Simply squeeze the button on the back of the seat to switch between positions.

The Dune’s enhanced suspension offers a smooth ride at all times. The never-wear tires guarantee that handling any uneven sidewalks won’t disturb the baby and will remain comfortable for parents, too. Silver Cross has recreated its’ signature bounce with exposed rear-wheel suspension that takes tight corners and maneuvers busy city streets with ease.

Inspiration Story Behind Dune and Reef Strollers

We first presented the concepts of Dune and Reef in September 2019 at Cologne. Of course, you may remember that room. We've listened to your feedback since then, talked to families and over the past two years we've been working really hard to refine both concepts to what you're about to see today. These amazing new products take our core travel systems to a completely new level of sophistication, both functionally and aesthetically. Dune is our most compact urban travel system which is perfect for city living. 

Dune is a high quality, beautiful compact travel system which has been designed to capture a new generation of consumers. With its advanced functionality and refined detailing, Reef shares elements and features with Dune that has a different appeal. It provides families with the ultimate in comfort and protection in a multi-terrain travel system with an overnight sleeping first bed carry on. 

Both Dune and Reef feature multiple patterns and showcase our new unique folding system which is unlike any other. Both have a suitable from birth seat unit which features our new innovative Genius buckle and the auto adjusting harness system. Dune is paired with an innovative compact folding carry-cot and Reef has a first bed overnight sleeping carry cotton as you'd expect. As always, the design team have been obsessed with the integration of fabrics and hardware. It's created a completely unique harmony of beautiful form and function. Dune is our intelligent contemporary urban stroller designed and built for city living. Uncomplicated and uncluttered, Dune is inspired by a need to reset and assess what is of value in our lives. The look is considered an innovative fabrics engineered to fit seamlessly, providing ultimate comfort with an effortless modern interface. Dune has a simple, intuitive one hand fold. It can be folded with the seat attached, parent or world facing and locked securely for transportation. Dune is unique in folding with the seat unit attached free standing on its wheels without the telescopic handle touching the ground. This ensures the polished detailing and padded Vegan leather handle always look beautiful when folded. Dune features a comfortable Vegan leather carry handle for easy transportation. When developing Dune, our aim was to improve the user experience by developing innovative, intelligent solutions. The headrest height adjustment system is an example of this. By squeezing a trigger on the seat backrest spine, the headrest and shoulder harness adjust seamlessly and can be easily set to the correct height. The padded headrest provides supreme comfort and support for the child. The headrest can also be removed and a newborn pod fitted for an additional front berth solution. 

We are incredibly proud of our Genius harness system and magnetic buckle. The harness straps can be adjusted quickly and easily on the move and the magnetic buckle ensures no more fiddly difficult to attach. Harnesses.

Juniors is a contemporary knitted fabric quality paired with an embossed geometric sculptural knit to create the perfect balance of innovation and comfort. Where less is more and more is beautifully considered. 

Each element is carefully designed to create the perfect balance. A focus on recycled fabrics is at its core carrying on our conscious message towards sustainable future. With a focus on comfort. Our contemporary mild bamboo fabric is used on the carry-cot lining and newborn pod with anti wicking and breathable properties. This is perfect for newborn baby's skin. A big focus of the Dune development was the need to provide a comfortable cushioned ride. In the best traditions of Silver Cross, Dune features high quality NeverWear tires with visible engineered suspension Springs all round. 

Our innovative intelligent folding compact carry-cot has been designed to provide a cozy safe environment for a newborn. It can be lifted from the chassis with one hand and the unique construction and use of materials allows the carry cot to fold origami like into a small flat package which is easy to store and transport. It features a hard shell base using the same materials as contemporary luggage riding durability and stability both on and off the chassis. The folding compact carry cot also features adjustable ventilation panels at the head and toe end as well as ventilation in the hood.
