UPPAbaby Mira 2-1 Bouncer

The adjustment handle is pretty straightforward if you follow the manual, and it takes one use to get used to. I appreciate that it’s quick to adjust, but also has a safety component that would make it unlikely that the seat could erroneously change positions. In time we are certain that even as our daughter grows, the ability to use this as a toddler seat combined with the meaningful base weight gives us confidence this bouncer will have longevity beyond our others. While the weight gives confidence that it will not tip, it’s certainly not so much that it’s inconvenient to carry- we take this bouncer all over the place without issue, which gives credit to the carrying case they include as well. Overall we give this bouncer a five start rating, and deservedly so. The UPPAbaby Mira bouncer seat is a great product. It is lightweight and easy to move around the house. The portability makes it the perfect seat when I need to help big sister, do housework, shower, or even use the bathroom (iykyk, parents!) because I can easily bring it along wherever I go and trust that my baby is safe, secure, and happy. My baby is going through a period of separation anxiety lately and often won’t let Mom put her down without crying, but she loves her bouncer seat. We can bounce her with our foot or she can kick and play and bounce herself. I love that this bouncer is easy to clean and maintain. Machine washable fabrics are absolutely essential when choosing baby products. The mesh fabric is perfect for all seasons, indoor and outdoor use, and the cozy liner is so soft and snuggly. It cradles my baby and she looks very comfortable. The seat easily folds flat for storage or travel and comes with a convenient bag. The bouncer has 3 recline levels and can be used from birth and beyond. The parent facing recline feature making adjusting easy. This bouncer is a bit of an investment, but it’s a 2-in-1 design that transitions to a toddler chair that my baby can continue to enjoy for years. I only wish it included the toy bar. Without including the toy bar the price is a bit steep for me personally; however, upon searching it does seem to be a typical price point among name brands for similar products. I truly appreciate that UPPAbaby takes baby safety seriously. They take that extra steps to obtain GREENGUARD Gold, JPMA, and FSC certifications and put their products through rigorous safety testing to exceed product safety standards. This bouncer has it all - functionality, versatility, comfort, ease-of-use, and beauty. Moving between angles is seamless, the storage and travel capabilities (especially with the bonus travel bag) are amazing. I've moved it from my family room to my baby's room and even to a friend's house with ease. The way it offers both comfort and breathability is a bonus! And overall, the beauty and quality of this product is top notch. I've had four little ones and plenty of bouncers and this one is off the charts in comparison. Uppababy really studied and checked all of the boxes and then some with this product. My baby has slept in it, but as he gets older, he just loves to bounce in it! My only regret about the uppa baby ‘Mira’ bouncer is that we didn’t get it sooner. My son is now almost a year old, but I know that if we could have had it when he was a newborn, we definitely would have used it daily. I used this bouncer while cooking in the kitchen so that baby can be right there watching me, and can even take a little nap if he’s tired. I also used it a few times in the bathroom while I was in the shower and getting ready. I really was surprised by how nice the bouncer looked. I’m not into a bunch of bright, rainbow colors. Don’t get me wrong, my son is not a sad beige baby or anything- but I still love when baby gear is visually appealing. If I have choices to purchase a rainbow colored item vs a nice looking neutral colored item, I will go for the neutral one every time. I hate when an expensive item that is loved by my baby is a giant eye sore.
My son really enjoyed sitting in the bouncer because he was able to bounce himself. He loved the feeling of bouncing up and down and was able to sit in there (with a toy in hand or video playing) for as long as I needed him to. I liked the soft insert but since my son is older, I never used it. I could definitely see how it would be a huge benefit for smaller babies though. When I felt it, it was very soft and cozy and I imagine would be very comfortable. I thought the parent-facing recline adjustment was a great feature. You can really tell that uppababy is a high end brand because of all the convenience features that other brands don’t have. I liked that there was a handle to hold on to while carrying the bouncer. And the fact that it has a bag to store it in is amazing. It was super easy and light weight to move around. The portability was a big part of my 5 star rating. We moved it A lot from room to room, even downstairs to upstairs. A great feature is how little space it takes up when not in use. Since our living room and bedroom is filled with things for our baby, I like to fold up the bouncer when not in use and put it in the corner of the room against the wall. It barely takes up any space, which is so nice because so much other baby gear takes up a ton of space, when in use or not. I would have liked if the toy bar came with the bouncer, but it is nice to have the option to purchase separately.

The Mira 2 in 1 Bouncer and Seat we received through the Stellar Product Testing Panel is loved by our daughter! We love that it is easily adjustable, stores flat when not in use and that the materials are greenguard gold certified. Since our little one tends to run hot we use it without the sherpa insert but it is nice to have it as an option. The Charlie color blends in great with our home decor. Our daughter loves being bounced by us while she reclines back in it. I also think it’s a product that we’ll use for a long time due to the fact that she still has plenty of room to grow in it still.

I received the Mira 2 in 1 Bouncer and Seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was skeptical at first, because my baby was about to turn 1 and had mostly outgrown all of the "baby" products and other bouncers like this one! However, when we set it up in our living room (a VERY quick and easy process, by the way)... my boy loved it and continues to go climb up on it and bounce for quite a long time!

He doesn't fit in the seat with the safety strap, but greatly enjoys the "hammock" or toddler side, which can be easily changed by flipping the fabric on and off the simple frame!! He will sit in it the right way or climb in and kneel, facing the back! He can easily climb in or out via the front or sides! And for the fun side of things, my husband loves to use it to catapult all of the stuffed animals across our living for our son to chase and bring back! 🤣

It is very portable and would definitely be something I'll use with a future baby!! To have that independence and safe place to keep my little one, is of utmost importance and the Mira 2 in 1 Bouncer and Seat will be greatly useful down the road!

As for the design and overall look, I love the simplicity and neutral colors! The nifty carrying bag, lay-flat design, and easy-to-pop-up agility of the product will be handy for visiting friends or going on vacation! I can't really say I'll use it many other places other than our living room at home now that my boy is a toddler, but for future babies... again, it'll be perfect!

The bouncer came with a cozy seat insert for the side with the safety buckle. However, because it was late spring when I received the product and because my 1 yr old can't use the side that the insert fits in, we didn't find this useful! It is a great idea though and will help keep a baby perfectly cozy if outside on a porch in the evenings, etc!

The 3 levels of reclining were helpful! I felt the highest level was our favorite, as the seat was being used as a bouncer by my little guy! He's heavy enough (22lbs) to really get it going in that highest/chair position! The lower options made him feel like he was taking a nap and he didn't like that! Again, for a baby or infant... that lower napping feature would be one of my favorites!

Overall, despite my original doubt that it would work for a toddler like mine.. I really loved the product! It looks great in my living room and I love the neutral colors with the wood design on the base! It really is a great product that will be used for many years to come!

This Mira bouncer is our new love! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this baby bouncer. This is certainly not our first rodeo with an active baby, but our latest one is determined and strong-willed.
The bouncer is slim but it remarkably supports our youngest to older toddler. The times that my baby or toddler will self entertain themselves before crying to be picked up is few and rare. However, the bouncer was comfortable enough for them to relax and practice some self soothing. The portability factor allows me to use it in the living room, kitchen and even in the hallway while poor mom is in the bathroom. Many times my baby will take a nap while I'm doing dishes or prepping dinner. I was was impressed with the sleek profile, premium fabrics and throughly enjoyed the sustainability mission with the materials that were used.
The bouncer reclines with a parent-facing recline feature which is unique from other bouncers I've used. It's a little easier to activate without jostling a sleeping baby which is imperative it happens as smoothly as possible. Without the weight of the baby it'll easily recline though it's not a fight either with a child in it.
Our youngest baby is an active explorer and while I love to encourage this, tasks need to be done. This is technically a container but one that I have zero guilt using because it's so well ergonomically designed for babies and even toddlers. My baby will happily bounce and their upper half is still free to interact with toys or their siblings. And this is my toddlers new night time favorite fun activity before bed. This Mira bouncer has been wonderful to allow my baby safe movement and freedom and I can see this being one that will last a long time for our family due to the quality and utility of the product.

My baby seemed so comfortable in both bouncer’s cozy liner and the breathable mesh (which I found to be more suitable for the warm Texas weather). I love that the fabric is removable (because babies are messy) and can be washed in the washing machine! My child’s safety and well-being is a top priority when choosing products, so the fact that this bouncer is GREENGUARD Certified brings me peace of mind.

The seat restraint is easy to adjust to make sure that baby fits snugly and safely. The seat restraint is more like a high pouch and seems to be much more comfortable than a harness strap.

The three levels of recline is great for different stages/ages. However, I did find that it was a little difficult to adjust the recline level. Hopefully this is just temporary since it is still so new!

My baby is now getting to the point where she does not want to just lay and relax. I do wish there was a way to use the Mira 2 in 1 Bouncer and Seat between the bouncer setting and the toddler chair setting. Since my baby is wanting to sit up more, we are nearing the end of being able to use bouncer feature safely, but she is not to the point developmentally where she can be unrestrained in a seat. However, I am extremely excited to keep the bouncer stored away in the convenient storage/travel bag that it came with and pull it back out when my baby is able to use it as a toddler seat!

If you are a caregiver whose arms need a break for a few minutes during each day, get this bouncer - you will not be disappointed! I love that I am now able to have a safe space for my little one where she is content and happily bounces and hangs out while watching me do chores around the house (and it is lightweight enough for me to easily move from room to room). If you are looking for a thoughtfully designed bouncer that has functionality beyond your child's first year, then you need to consider the Mira 2 in 1 bouncer. I found the bouncer to have sleek, modern look with fabrics & wood that can be easily washed or wiped clean. It is definitely a plus to not have extra cracks or crevices when messes happen. It was easy to adjust the bouncer position while my child was secured in the seat. It was also straightforward to use the extra button to fold it completely flat after use for storage in the provided bag. The extra button provides security that it will not accidently flop down into the flat position while my child was in the bouncer. The storage bag & fold flat design made it feasible not only to move the bouncer around the house but also take it in the car when visiting family.

Most bouncers have limited utility once babies start becoming mobile & wanting to explore their surroundings. However, the seat for this bouncer can be reversed to function as a toddler seat. I'm excited to have my child continue to use this seat in the future and again to be able to easily transport it in the fold-flat mode. As soon as I pulled the Mira 2 in 1 bouncer and seat out of its packaging I just knew I would love it. The first thing I notice is the storage bag! This small yet thoughtful detail jumps it right to the top of my favorite baby products for travel list. We have already done a few roadtrips to see family and it is truly such a game changer to have a clean, safe & easy to tuck away spot to keep those littles on the go. It is so easy to fold and move around with the convenient carry handles. My daughter is 8 months old and she still fit so comfortably with the soft cozy liner.
