Instagram: Installing Your Pipa Relx Base

Enelio Ortega

Hey guys! Enelio from Bambibaby.com. And I want to talk to you about the difference of installing your infant car seat base or having a European belt path so you could use it without the base and another car. And even though I think that's a great option, it's so simple to connect an ISOFIX base into multiple cars. All you got to do is line it up, find your anchor point and it's installed. When I go to do that with a seat belt installation – now it changes everything because now I got to bring in the car seat, run the seat belt around the front of it all the way around the back, hurry it up because of weather and because of locking belts like this, it's not that simple. It's easier to take out that base and install it in another car. If you have any questions or comments about this please leave them below.

Your life now is focused on firsts—first words, first steps. Our innovative PIPA RELX base is one of the first to feature an adjustable stability leg to fit in center seating positions and a wider range of vehicles. It also features a steel-reinforced rigid latch adjusting across four positions for a better fit against your vehicle seat.

Colored indicators take the guesswork out of installation, and the bubble-free, numbered, on-the-go recline means you can change positions as your baby grows without having to uninstall the base. The lockoff with easy-access belt path makes it simple to install with the vehicle belt. The smooth platform won’t take a toll on your vehicle seats, and the low profile allows for easier loading of any  Nuna PIPA series infant car seat.

Problems solved—all of them. What else is left? Ah, yes. Relax.

The Nuna PIPA Infant Car seat line has several different cars and you've got Pipa LitePipa Lite RPIPA Lite LX and we're going to kind of clear it all up and what the audience are and what the Relx base feature is all about by far. Our favorite one is the Pipa Lite LX. The Pipa Lite LX is only 5.2 lbs., has a dream drape, it comes with a Merina wool insert and the Pipa original base. The original base has been a favorite for a long time – rigid ISO FIX anchors with a load leg. The difference into the relx base is this load leg doesn't necessarily lock. It goes down and touches the floor, and the base has a leveling ball on it to adjust and pivot. And the ISO fixed anchors with the ability to run the seat belt through the center on the new relx base. And the way we like to talk about the features of the relx base is that the relx base has a shoulder guide and a lap belt. It is also rigid ISOFIX, so it has a rigid anchors, but a unique feature is when I bring it back, it resets when I reset it and I pull it back out to connect it into the car. You have this area here, which is not fully connected. I could slide this carpet in and lock it into place. Another key feature is that you have multiple positions on the relx base to be able to adjust the angle and the load leg is a locking load leg. It locks in multiple positions so it can be used in the center seat. What I like to do is sell it as a secondary base, right? So the primary car gets a car seat and Dad's car or Grandma's car gets a base to be able to move. So if you buy a relx base as an accessory as your secondary base, your PIPA will connect to the relx base, so switch the bases around, make the relx base your primary base in the car that moves the baby most often and then grab the original base that comes with the Pipa Lite LX and use that as a secondary base – I hope that clears up some of the fog.
