this car seat has been perfect for our summer travels! Easy to install and so lightweight for carrying around the airport!

Very light and very portable. There are a number of way it can be installed, latch or seatbelt. Instructions easy to follow.

We wanted a car seat that was lightweight and could be attached to our bugaboo butterfly stroller. It was super easy to install (ask for a seatbelt extender so the buckle isn’t behind babies back). I wouldn’t use as an everyday car seat but it was perfect for travel.

Purchased this car seat for traveling. It is so lightweight, easy to install quickly with only a seatbelt! Just what I needed for a quick trip!

we haven’t had the chance to use this yet but have it ready for holiday travel. it weighs less than our infant car seat did and seems very well made! it’s nice looking and the straps will make it easy to use. might not be my top choice for an every day car seat but will be perfect for visiting grandparents.

We just used this on a 7 day trip and it was great. This is my second kiddo and I still have one in a booster. Because we have so much stuff with 2, I wanted the lightest car seat I could find but one that still had a comfy interior since we are used to a Nuna Rava and Britax Clicktight at home. This seat was great. It was a pretty easy install, looked beautiful, was soft and plush where it was needed and my daughter had no complaints on our trip. The only downsides were that the crotch buckle stuck out a little funny and if you have a super chunky baby, it may dig into the skin a little. Another con is the fact that this seat won't last long for larger babies and toddlers. For us with a baby in the 2nd percentile, it was great and I see us getting at least another year or two of use with my current 15-month-old. One last con would be that this seat angle takes up a lot of room to be properly installed. We were in a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with plenty of space but I can see that this seat would be challenging in a small car or SUV given the recline of the seat required for proper installation. P.S. I had previously tried using the inexpensive seat very similar to this from Walmart but the fabrics left so much to be desired as far as comfort and aesthetics.

We specifically purchased this car seat as our travel seat for trips where we are not visiting family. In the past we would rent one through our preferred rental car provider and felt like that was wasted money and too much variability on availability, cleanliness and quality. In two car rental trips this seat pays for itself.

The seat is very light and easy to carry through an airport as long as you have something to set it on; still awkward and big to carry. Easy to install with the spring loaded latch system. We have some car seats that have the full metal loops/hooks which are much harder to install.

Our regular everyday car seat is the Nuna Rava which I prefer for multiple reasons but just too much to carry; almost 40 lbs versus 8 lbs for the Maxi Cosi. We felt safe driving through a foreign country on unknown roads. We will continue to travel with the Romi for future trips.

Finally, we had intended to travel with the seat installed on the airplane and later opted to check it. Can't speak to how well it fits within standard cramped airplane seats. However we did initially purchase the seat for this reason; to be able to fit a 17" wide seat.

Strolleria has always been a great shopping experience. Our car seat arrived sealed in the box but not much protection otherwise. No plastic bag or extra seals on the box to guarantee it was new. I'm comparing this to how the Nuna Rava shipped which came double boxed, all sorts of extra seals, bagged and everything.
