Which infant car seats are compatible with the Silver Cross Nia?
The Nia is compatible with select infant car seats from Clek, Cybex, Maxi-Cosi, and Nuna using adapters (sold separately). This allows you to create a travel system for quick trips while still having both the lie-flat stroller seat and Folding Bassinet available whenever they're the better fit.
Can my baby sleep overnight in the Folding Bassinet?
No. The Folding Bassinet is intended for strolling and supervised use only and is not approved for overnight sleep. If your baby falls asleep during a walk, that's perfectly fine, but for overnight or unattended sleep, always move them to a firm, flat sleep surface that meets current safe sleep recommendations.
Is the Silver Cross Nia really cabin approved with the Folding Bassinet?
Yes. The Nia is the world's only stroller that is IATA cabin compliant in both stroller seat and Folding Bassinet modes. While individual airline policies always vary, the compact fold is designed to meet international cabin baggage recommendations.
How long can my baby use the Folding Bassinet?
The Folding Bassinet is designed from birth until your baby can push up on their hands and knees or reaches the maximum weight limit specified by Silver Cross. After that, simply transition to the stroller's lie-flat seat, which accommodates children up to 55 lbs.
Is there a bassinet stand for the Silver Cross Folding Bassinet?
No.Silver Cross does not offer a compatible bassinet stand for the Folding Bassinet. It's designed specifically for use on the Nia stroller and is not intended to function as a standalone sleep space at home.
So I started off early in my pregnancy going in person to the location in Miami, staff was very pleasant asked appropriate questions to make a suitable recommendation did not push anything expensive/unnessesary. I was not ready to purchase at that time but after my experience there I knew I was going to purchase from Bambi Baby regardless - they truly earned the purchase. I am SO happy with the experience and the Stroller as well. It was important for me to find the right fit and Babmi baby made sure I did.
In addition to all of that I’m super impressed with customer service and website plus the rewards/bambi bucks. This is the absolute best place to go to or buy big ticket items for your baby. 1000/10 recommended.
Coming to the Nia- prompt delivery, great color selection, beautiful stroller, super light weight, easy to fold, birth to 55 lbs and can fit in the upper head bin. I did want the Conifer color but there was a 4-6 week wait so I went with champagne nontheless felt like it would be better to have a lighter color in FL weather. So it all did work out really well in the end.
P.S this is not paid or anything of that sort this was my experience start to finish as an average consumer. I can say enough great stuff about Bambi Baby.
