Poor communication and backordered items for NYC... look at other stores instead
This review is specific to the Manhattan, NYC store:
We ordered a Silver Cross stroller + bassinet from Bambi Baby and were told delivery would be 6–8 weeks. The stroller arrived, but the bassinet never did. After waiting, we had to call them to find out it was now on backorder and would take another three months — with our baby due in two weeks. No one from Bambi Baby proactively notified us about the delay.
When we asked for a solution, an associate told us to just lay the toddler seat flat and use that for an infant — which is unsafe and unacceptable. Fortunately we found a local retailer that had the bassinet in stock and got it delivered, but this was only after wasting time and stress.
Poor communication, unrealistic customer service suggestions, and long backorder times. We recommend checking local retailers or other sellers before ordering from Bambi Baby.
