The BassiNest Swivel Sleeper is rated for babies up to 20 lbs (9 kg). HALO recommends discontinuing use once your baby reaches 20 lbs, hits 5 months of age, or starts pushing up on hands and knees — whichever happens first.
What happens if my baby exceeds the weight or mobility limit?
Once a baby can push up on hands and knees, roll over, or sit unassisted, HALO advises moving them to a crib. The BassiNest's shallow, non-adjustable mattress depth isn't designed for a baby who can move around, so continuing past that point is a safety risk even if they're under 20 lbs.
