What Strollers Are Compatible with the UPPAbaby Aria V2?

While the UPPAbaby Aria V2 isn’t the most universally compatible infant car seat on the market, it’s designed to work seamlessly within the UPPAbaby ecosystem. It clicks directly onto the Vista and Cruz strollers without any adapters, making for a hassle-free travel system right out of the box. It can also be used with the Minu (and Minu Duo) and Ridge strollers when paired with separately sold adapters.

If you already own UPPAbaby gear or plan to build a full system within the brand, the Aria V2 will integrate beautifully. However, families using strollers outside the UPPAbaby lineup may want to double-check adapter availability before committing. 

Do I Need an Extra Base?

Adding an extra Aria base can make daily life much easier for families with multiple cars or caregivers. While the Aria V2 can be safely installed without its base using the European belt path—handy for travel, taxis, or ride shares—that method takes more time and practice. For everyday use, having a dedicated base in each vehicle is far more convenient and helps ensure the seat is always installed securely. Those who live in a city may find they don’t need an extra base, since ride shares and taxis usually call for quick, baseless installs.

With the Aria base, installation is quick and stress-free. Once the base is in place, the car seat simply clicks in and out, no adjustments needed. Since you only need one Aria seat itself, the golden rule is that the car seat always stays with your baby, and any parent, grandparent, or caregiver can use the base already installed in their car.
