Had to nearly destroy it to get it to fit. Ended up making an L bracket to keep it together. 3 corners locked in but one of the brackets was too far into the bed rail to latch.

Great item but...
The final product is awesome! We love it. However putting it together was a bit challenging even with 2 people and would have been impossible with 1 person. The hooks that latch into the headboard and footboard don't click in and stay. They pop out and make it extremely hard to get both sides in. I also don't know what the point of the screws are in the top hole of the head board besides cosmetic reasons. The Allen key is so short it is nearly impossible for someone with small hands to hold the key and turn it to get the bolt tight. Bottom line once the piece was finally finished it came out great but the design feature of hook and latch needs to be better.
